Had a couple of gatherings recently, and coincidental enough, they are all primary school gathering. For those who don't know, yup, I was from the then-famous, then-top ranking Red Swastika School!

RSS changed so much over the years. Not only the building itself, but also the acadamic results as well. We used to see RSS ranking top 5 at those primary PSLE results on the papers, but over the years, RSS seems to disappear. People even tell me its now like a normal neighbourhood school. :(

Well, thats why people say memories are the best.

I had a gathering with these people(see picture below) on 010107 at Bedok 85 Market. Come to think of it, I don't know why I got close with this group thou~

Left to Right - Nicolas, Me, Yuan Man, Weilin, Yong Liang, Emily, Joyce.

I can explain a few..

Weilin - Knew her since PY. Class PY3. PY is like Kindergarten 2, only difference was that we had our K2 days spent in our primary school! Something like pre-primary education. That was like when we were only 6 years old. 16 years down the road, I can say that we've been quite close. We didn't really keep in touch during our secondary school days but once we met up again, the bond is still there! :) Thats what I call a true friend! Weilin, thanx for the friendship all these years. Thanx for listening to my woes always. And also not forgetting the recent 'fortune telling' incident~ Hahaha Will keep you updated if theres any 'progress'. Once again, we must be sisters for life ya!

Joyce - Knew her since Primary 2. Class 2/4. 14 years down, yup, we have been close too. Same thing, didn't keep in touch much during secondary school days, but never was she forgotten. Once met up, talk non stop. I was so upset when she told me she is leaving for Sydney to further her studies. But studies are important, so I gave her my best wishes~ =) Joyce, thanx for the friendship all these years too. Thou we cant meet up often now that you're studying there, I do look forward to you coming back! I'm happy for you that you're attached, hope V treats you well ya! V, if you don't, don't let me see you! Hahaha Yup, you, me and Weilin will be sisters for life! =)

Emily - Knew her since primary 4. Never once in the same class cos she is darn SMART! She top the school every year. I knew her because both Joyce and her were in swimming team, and I always meet up with Joyce. So heres the link. One fine day when we were at the locker area, I passed some candies to Joyce and Emily was there, so I gave her some candies too. Since then whenever she see me she'll go 'you mei you tang chi??' Haha.. I remembered going to her place, and after swimming we decided to cook some things to eat. We were only about 11 then. I fried some eggs for them and Emily said that was the first time she ate such nice eggs. We ended up eating like 8 eggs? Hahaha (come to think of it, I do have a flair for frying nice eggs since young =p) This smart lady here left for her studies in the States few years ago. I can't remember when was the last time I met her. We were all surprised that she actually remembered us and she wants to meet up with us when she came back this time. Emily, do take care when you return to the 'far far away place'. Must remember us ok! We'll all fly over to attend your wedding! Miss ya my special friend.

Ok, this was how I got to know them. Hmm.. Oh ya!! Nicolas, Yuan Man and Yong Liang were in the same class as Joyce and Weilin. Thats why they are in the group too. I always think that I'm the most extra one in the group thou~ -pout-

Whenever people ask if I have any best friend, I never fail to think of Joyce and Weilin. And of course I'm not forgetting my dearest classmate Blur. =)

I'm having another gathering on 130107, this time with secondary school classmates. Till then I'll talk about them! =)
